About HourDistrict
ABOUT HOURDISTRICT
We look beyond factory names.
We took a different approach from the start.
The replica market includes sellers repeatedly offering the same factory names and finished products, as well as so-called factory switching, where the watch supplied differs from the factory advertised.
HourDistrict began with a different approach to promising quality on a factory name alone. Instead of choosing a finished watch as-is, we assess the quality and compatibility of the case, dial, crystal, movement and other components for each model, selecting only combinations that meet our standards.
The selected components are assembled in our overseas workshop. We then check the finished watch’s appearance, alignment and operation, and ship after the customer reviews and approves the QC materials. This is our HOURDISTRICT SELECT BUILD approach.
Why do buyers arrange additional work?
Even premium factory watches can show differences in bezel and dial colour, crystal reflections, alignment and finishing when worn as supplied.
Experienced buyers therefore arrange component replacements, additional finishing or reassembly. Often called a ‘franken build’, this requires finding suitable parts and a skilled technician, with additional cost and time.
So you do not need to arrange additional work
HourDistrict does not leave this process to the customer after purchase. We ship after model-specific component selection, assembly in our overseas workshop, finished-watch QC and customer approval.
Receive a watch finished to HourDistrict standards from the start, without having to arrange additional work.

We select components for each model
We assess bezel and dial colour and finishing, case and crystal quality, movement operation and component compatibility against model-specific standards. The condition of the parts we actually use matters more than a shared factory name.

Take your time finding the right watch at HourDistrict.
We did not stop at finding a good finished watch.
Even for the same model, the result can vary with component quality and the combination used. HourDistrict decided that choosing finished watches alone was not enough. We set standards for each model and reconsider the component configuration from the start.
We select to different standards for each model.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do you not disclose supplier and factory names?
A name alone cannot guarantee quality. We focus on the condition and combination of the actual components and the QC standards for the finished watch, rather than the supplier.
What does QC check?
We check the finished watch's appearance, the alignment of its main elements, operation and core functions. Customers can review the QC materials before giving approval.
Do all models use the same component configuration?
No. The important elements and suitable configurations differ between models, so we select each according to its own standards.
How does this differ from selling finished factory watches?
Instead of simply selecting a finished product as-is, we manage component standards, selection, assembly and finished-watch QC as one process.
